<br>We invite you and your family to come and celebrate Father’s Day with us. We have planned a fun and meaningful programme for you to enjoy with your loved ones. Let’s come together to encourage and appreciate the fathers in our midst. In our celebration with songs, food and games we will be reminded of the wonderful privilege and joy of being a father.<p>

<p><li> <strong>“In Celebration of Fatherhood” 2004</strong> – a Father’s Day Dinner<br>
            <br>
            On Father’s Day many of you will be celebrating with your families. So a day before Father’s Day, Centre for Fathering will like to invite couples to celebrate the occasion with us. Yes a night for you to bring your husband out for a meaningful event. We also hope that many wives will come to honour their husbands. <br>
            We come together to celebrate fatherhood, together with our wives and with other parents – over a meal. In our celebration, we will be reminded of the wonderful privilege and joy of being a father. We come together to affirm and support one another in our parenting journey – the new Singaporean father has more responsibilities than ever, we need each other’s encouragement. We come together to remind ourselves of our commitment to our children. Though we are not perfect fathers, we are committed to grow in our role as fathers. We come together to have fun and to be enriched by participating in the activities and interaction with one another. We come together to give life and energy to fathering, for we need it, as we are committed to a life-long relationship with our children. This event is opened to all couples, but we would especially like those who are on our mailing list to join us in this event, as we would like to meet you and your wife. <li> <strong>“Grand Parenting with Confidence”</strong> – grandparents and parents can together provide the best parenting environment for raising children. A half-day seminar conducted by Ian Grant, Chairman on Focus on the Family, New Zealand. He is a grandfather, international speaker and author of many books on family issues. This event is organized by Focus on the Family, and as a programme partner, Centre for Fathering will like to invite you to this seminar on Saturday, 29 May 2004 from 9.00am to 12.30pm at Singapore Power Auditorium 111 Somerset Rd.<br>

 Back to School with Dad 2007

Our centre is asking fathers to accompany their children back to school on the first day of the 2007 school year.<p> When fathers are interested and involved in their children’s school life, children tend to enjoy school more and they do better academically. <p>We hope that this event will be a good experience for both fathers and children, that fathers will continue to be supportive and encouraging in actions and words towards their children’s academic lives. We hope schools will participate by encouraging their students’ fathers to take part and we hope companies will give fathers time off on the first day of school to accompany their children to school. <p>Please contact our centre for further information and help us to disseminate this information.  Centre For Fathering Maths Camp

The Centre for Fathering is organizing a Maths Camp late November by making
it fun for father and child to know their numbers.<p>

In this 3-hour experiential "camp", fathers will have a better understanding
of how children learn maths.  Participants will be guided through 2-D or 3-D
games and brainteasers, including an ancient Chinese puzzle.  This Maths
pow-wow will tickle your visual, auditory and kinaesthetic senses.  Fathers
will also be coached on building better relationships with your children.
Have fun with maths, and take away knowledge + wisdom!<p>
